Specialist Biomedical Scientist - Microbiology (Band 6)

A permanent, full-time Band 6 role in the Microbiology laboratory analysing and interpreting infectious disease causes through microorganism identification, including culture and identification of bacteria and fungi, antimicrobial susceptibility testing and serological investigations. Requires HCPC registration, a specialist microbiology portfolio and a minimum of 3 years post-registration UK laboratory experience.
